Fred & Lina

12 September 2026

We are so happy you want to share this day with us.

Welcome

A Celebration of Love,
Family & Friendship

We are overjoyed that you will be joining us in Lund to celebrate our wedding. This website has all the practical details you need before your trip — from travel and hotels to venue history and a few of our favorite spots in Skåne for those who want to make a full weekend of it.

The Bride & The Groom

Two Stories, One Chapter

Lina

The Bride

Lina is a Swedish writer based in Lund. Her novels and short stories have been translated into many languages, and she has received Sweden's most prestigious literary awards. When she is not writing, she loves wandering old bookshops, cooking, and spending time with family.

Fred

The Groom

Fred is a fine wine merchant based near Paris, where he founded Filips Wine in 2004 — named after his Swedish grandfather Filip, a Stockholm entrepreneur. After falling in love with wine at a London shop, he moved to France to be closer to the source. Today Filips Wine trades some of the world's most sought-after bottles.

“Many guests will meet each other for the first time this weekend — which makes it even more special.”

Where It All Happens

Lunds Domkyrka

Ceremony

One of Scandinavia's finest Romanesque churches, consecrated in 1145. Nearly 900 years of history within its sandstone walls. A personal detail: the church stone has ties to the bride's home village, making this place even more meaningful to us.

Hypoteket

Reception

Housed in a grand former bank building in central Lund, Hypoteket blends historic architecture — high ceilings, classical columns, ornate details — with a warm, celebratory atmosphere. The perfect setting for our wedding dinner.

To Do in Skåne

Make a Weekend of It

If you are arriving early or staying after the wedding, here are a few of our favorite places in the region.

Hörby

The bride's home village, surrounded by rolling Scanian countryside. Walk the shores of Lake Ringsjön, visit artisan farm shops, or explore nearby vineyards — Skåne produces most of Sweden's wine, and September is harvest season.

Torekov & Bjäre

A charming fishing village on the Bjäre peninsula. Take the ferry to the seal colony on Hallands Väderö, walk the dramatic cliffs at Hovs Hallar — where Bergman filmed The Seventh Seal — or simply swim and have fika by the harbour.

Lund & Malmö

Fifteen minutes apart by train. In Lund: the cathedral's medieval astronomical clock, Kulturen open-air museum, and bistros like Klostergatans Vin & Delikatess. In Malmö: Moderna Museet, Malmö Konsthall, and a Michelin-starred dining scene.

Ales Stenar

Scandinavia's largest stone ship — 59 boulders arranged on a windswept coastal ridge above the fishing village of Kåseberga. The kind of dramatic, ancient landscape that makes you fall silent. Best at sunset.

Österlen

Often called the Provence of Sweden. Rolling rapeseed fields, half-timbered farmsteads, apple orchards, and artist studios in old stone barns. A landscape made for long lunches and unhurried conversation.

Sofiero Castle

The former summer residence of the Swedish royal family in Helsingborg. Spectacular gardens cascading down toward the Öresund strait — formal European design meets romantic Nordic planting. An ideal afternoon stroll.
